You laugh again.
On a beach, in the sun, with people who get it. The kind of laugh you did not think would come back.
Picture seven mornings on a warm beach, with a whole group who understands. No explaining. No doing it alone. Just sun, good food, and friends who have walked the same road. Everything is handled, from the airport to the excursions. You just show up.
The longing
Maybe you and your spouse always meant to travel. The dream did not leave. It just got quiet.
Going alone feels heavy. A trip full of couples feels lonely. And waiting until you feel ready, well, that day keeps not coming.
There is another way to go. With people who understand both the joy and the ache of traveling without them.

Waiting until you feel ready. That day keeps not arriving, and another year slips by.

Who is behind this
After Shari Nelson lost her husband, she went looking for people who understood. She started by inviting a few local widows to gather, to share a meal and their stories. That small circle grew into Tomorrow's Sunrise, a community of widows and widowers who get it.
Today, Shari leads gatherings, events, and group trips like this one. She believes grief and joy can live side by side, and that no one should have to face life after loss alone. These trips are part of that belief. Travel, laughter, and friendship, with people who understand.
